LIKES.
Ari likes to experimemt, doodle, and be on her laptop. Some of the little things that Ari likes would include animals, (The exception is bunnies...) being alone, technology, science, and fire.
DISTASTES.
Ari hates bunnies with a fiery passion. She hates the way their noses twitch, their front teeth, how odd their tail is, and their powerful legs that allow them to jump around. She also dislikes swimming, thunder, talking to people, and riddles.
OCCUPATION.
Ari is a scientist.
PERSONALITY.
Ari’s strengths consist of balance, and being a quick thinker. She is clever and has an open mind. Ari’s weaknesses are socializing with other people and paying attention to others when they are speaking directly to her. If Ari ever is face-to-face with another person, she can’t seem to speak, nor take in what they are saying, (The exception for this is if she is pretty angry. See below for details.) yet if someone is speaking to a group of people, Ari feels more relaxed and is able to listen.
Ari is clever, yet she is nowhere near being brave. Ari has a short temper, and her patience is very thin, and she cannot wait too long for something, otherwise she starts getting too anxious, and people will notice her strange acting. (This mainly includes being really jumpy, muttering to herself, and not correcting people in charms or potions classes, which is common for her.)
Shyness seems to be Ari’s only friend, as she usually only talks to people if it’s needed. When Ari gets angry, (As in, you provoke her to her limit point) she finds enough courage to shout the person down, or shout at them. Ari is has daring thoughts, but usually doesn’t carry them out unless she feels the experience is needed. Ari sort-of believes in fairness, and doesn’t exactly approve of the school’s ways. She doesn’t speak out, either. Standing up for herself is something Ari needs to work on. Rebellious though she is toward the school, Ari won’t speak out and draw attention to herself.
APPEARANCE.
Ari’s eyes are a white-blue color. Her hair is a fiery orange color with black highlights. Ari only stands five feet and seven inches, which makes her really short for her age, and she is really underweight, because she has too high of a metabolism. She has small hands and small feet.
Clothes that Ari wears are normally black jeans and either a red, orange, or yellow shirt. She normally wears a black coat over her clothes, unless she has a day off her job. Ari’s shoes are black and red boots, which she tucks her jeans into. Ari also wears gloves, which are black elastic gloves for when she is working.
(Sorry it’s so short. I can’t think much of what to type about her appearance anymore…)
HISTORY.
Ari’s life was seemingly normal. She had a mom, Chiro, a dad, Akiro, and a twin brother, Ario. Ari and Ario both went to school in Japan. They even had a pet cat; an orange tabby cat they called “Kaji”, which is Japanese for fire.
At age 12 for Ari and Ario, though, things changed. They knew that each year, a few kids’ names were called to go up to the office, and they never came back. Ario always said that it was just the smart, nerdy kids who were taken, even though a few times, some popular kids were taken up. On the same day it always was, kid’s were called up.
“If your name is called,” the announcer called out to the school in Japanese, “come up to the office, please. For Sixth grade…” Both Ari and Ario didn’t listen to this part, because what did it matter to them what Sixth graders were called up?
“For Seventh grade,” Ari perked up and Ario smirked, readying himself, “Kichida Ken, Kobayashi Ari, Kobayashi Ario…”
In their homeroom class, Ari, Ario, and Ken, whose family was made up of Englishmen and Japanese, all looked at each other, shock on their faces. Together, they all walked up to the office, where three men in black coats with clipboards were standing. The five sixth graders and other two seventh graders were standing there, looking up at the men. The rest of the people who were called out came in, too, staring up in unison with wonder on their faces at the men. One of them chuckled at this, one of them glared at the students, and the other showed no sign of liking or disliking the kid’s reactions.
The one who didn’t do anything about the kid’s reactions spoke first.
“You all are about to be taken to the Ante Negortium Scientific Research Center, in Spain.”
“But I don’t know crap about science!” Ario blurted out, before he could stop himself.
“You don’t have to. This research center is for you kids to be tested on, so that we can make a superhuman army. You are our testers. Your parents will be paid not to tell the government what is really going on, since it thinks we are using rats. You won’t see your family and friends again, unless, of course,” the man eyed Ari and Ario standing close together, “you are going there with them.”
When no one reacted, he continued on. “You all will be taken to this school. You will continue school there, but when we figure out something that might work, a student will be chosen at random who has not been tested on, and they will be tested on. Usually, we put you into a fake coma, so you don’t feel anything. If what we are doing has nothing to do with the inside of your body, we may think otherwise.” A malicious grin spread across his face at this, and neither Ari nor Ario liked the look of it. “Some of you will be lucky, and won’t be tested on. If this is the case, you will be able to become a teacher, or one of us.” He indicated the three of them. “We are scientists. You may come to us if you are to be tested on, or you may go to someone else.”
“What if you want to be a teacher? Do we get the grade level chosen for us?” Ario blurted out once again. The one who chuckled before did so again.
“No. You choose what grade level you will teach, but usually each class you teach is a different grade. Like, for say, your first period is seventh grade. Your second period could be ninth grade, your third period seniors, fourth period eighth graders, so on so forth. Get the point?”
Ario nodded.
“Well then, come on. We’re getting there by private airplane.”
All of the children gaped at the three men, and followed them out into the parking for buses. Sure enough, carefully hidden by buses, was a small airplane. The three men got into separate buses and moved them so the plane could fly out, while the children filed in. There were already Spanish pilots in the pilot’s pit. The three men got on after a few minutes, and looked at the children, all scared about what was to come next.
They arrived there, were put into uniforms, and were given their classes.
Ari and Ario were of the few who survived unscathed. They were allowed jobs. Ari decided to become a scientist, as she didn’t have a knack for teaching as Ario did.
So Ari mapped out plans for experiments, followed some of her most “brilliant” ones out, as her job.
FAMILY.
Ari’s mom is Chiro Kobayashi. Chiro has long, straight, black hair. She is short and skinny, and wears colors like black, grey and blue. Ari’s dad is Akiro Kobayashi. He has fiery orange hair, he’s tall and skinny, and loves fire, so he dresses like Ari does, black pants with red, orange, or yellow. Ari’s twin brother, Ario, is tall and skinny, with fiery orange hair which has natural black tips. Ario and Akiro both had white-blue eyes, like Ari.
FRIENDS.
So far, Ari has no friends, as she is not a social person.
ENEMIES.
So far, Ari has no enemies, as she is not a social person.
LOVE LIFE.
So far, Ari has no love life, as she is not a social person.
