Okay. This song /does/ have meaning -coughlabwolfstarrikucough- It's supposed to be watched in a row with the rest of the album, though, and it creates a story. Pink Floyd, The Wall, anyone? :3 Well, I love it... It's just about the singer's childhood, I think... Or maybe it's about a guy he met... But anyway, it takes place during WWII, and the main character had a mom who didn't raise him properly and a dad who died in the war. He gets a little crazy, and I'm pretty sure he tries to seclude himself from the rest of the world by building a wall around himself (Not literally, just an emotional wall). The Trial explains (sort of) how the wall is torn down... It's not a real trial, I don't think, but... some of the songs make fun of Hitler, because the character who plays hitler also plays the crazy guy, who shaved all his hair off, execpt for the hair on the top of his head. That means his chin, his chest, his eyebrows. So Hitler is an eyebrow-less, mustache-less, crazy-looking guy who goes up to the podium and sings. It's hilarious. And then the crowd all has these weird masks on that make their faces look funny, which symbolizes that they all are doing what he wants, and that they all are becoming the same. Then, later in the movie, (Yes, the Wall is actually a movie. The songs get cut for CD's, though... it sounds weird..) when Hitler is on this moving vehicle-like object, and his soldiers are in front of him, leading the object, all the people have their faces back and they are walking away from him. It was pretty cool, watching them sing... The soldiers had their arms crossed, looking from side to side while saying, "Waiting........ Waiting......... Waiting....." while Hitler sings between the "waiting"s.
Anyway, the song I want you guys to listen to is called the trial. I'm not too sure if I'm right, but I think that it's basically a trial for someone who was caught showing human feelings, since this was during Hitler's time. The chorus explains the prisoner's feelings, and the verses explain everyone else's feelings. The end is my favorite part, though, because in the animation, the Judge is supposed to be a big @$$hole, literally. He is some guy's lower half, and his face is ugly, and he is giant, and he has his own solo! I KNOW IT ALL!!!! It's 'cuz it's my favorite part in my favorite song, you know...
"The evidence before the court is incotrovertible. There's no need for the jury to retire. In all my years of judging I have never heard before of someone more deserving of a full penalty of law. The way you made the suffer, you exquisite wife and mother, fills me with the urge to DEFECATE! SINCE, my friend, you have revealed your deepest fears, I sentence you to be exposed before you peers. TEAR DOWN THE WALL!" I just find that part catchy, you know?
Be warned, there is a bad word in the second verse... "You little $h!t, your in it, now I hope they throw away the keys. You should have talked to me more often than you did BUT NOOO! You had to go your own way, have you broken any homes up lately? Just five minutes, worm, your honor, him and me alone.... BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABE! Come to mother, baby, let me hold you in my arms! But I never wanted him to get in any trouble. Why'd he ever have to leave me? Worm, your honor, let me take him home..."
Sorry, I love this song too much... Well, I'll quit teasing you with the lyrics and give you the song. Be warned, do NOT go searching up the music video. That animation is the most demented thing you'll see... Actually, I've seen more demented by the same band, buuuttt.... Lol, the felly flowers! I couldn't even watch that it was so messed up... Anyway, heres the link: CLICKY LINKY
