NATIONALITY; he was born in canada, but has lived in the united states most of his life. ____________________________________________ LIKES. - music - his guitar - the night sky - stars - spicy foods - math class DISTASTES. - pop/rap music - ignorant people - sour things - language arts - partying/clubs - athletics POWER. when he first arrived, jackson was immediately taken to the surgery room to be tested upon. the scientists did brain surgery on him to experiment ways to give humans a more organized way to store information in their head. they thought with this boost, soldiers could remember military formations and tactics in battle better and access them quicker. so, jackson has a unique way of storing and accessing information in his head. when he remembers something, especially music, it automatically goes into a folder in his brain, like a computer. whenever jackson needs to recall something, he can access these folders and skim through their information. all of this happens in the matter of seconds. for music, he has folders by artists or genre. it doesn't matter how complicated the files get, it only takes less then a second or two to find what he needs. please keep in mind that these aren't real folders, it's just how his brain sees it. his mind relates what it does to the function of a computer, so that he can understand it in a logical way. OCCUPATION. student. ACTIVITIES. jackson loves to grab his guitar and find a quiet spot to play. at night, he loves to sneak out and watch the stars and planets. because the research center is so far away from any other humanity, there are no lights to disturb his view, so the stars are amazing to watch! PERSONALITY. jackson has always been a go with the flow kind of guy, he gets it from his family's constant moves. with a naturally calm disposition, it takes a lot to get him worked up. he is curious, and likes to know what is going on around him, which you can tell would be an issue at Ante Negortium. family is a very important subject to him, and so he tends to worry about how his sister is reacting to his sudden departure. music is a very important part of jackson's life. almost always he has his guitar with him, or he is humming to a song. hating all pop music and rap alike, because of the lyrics, he refuses to listen or play either. he only sings songs which he finds meaningful or which have lyrics that have thought behind them. he is very bad at athletics because he is very clumsy and uncoordinated. APPEARANCE. jackson is average and on the skinny, wimpier side of things because of his lack of athletics. his hair is a light brown and cut into your average straight style. it dangles into his eyes and goes to his cheeks. his eyes are a light brown, over them he has your averaged square, green rimmed glasses, the kind most people wear today. jackson has freckles on his cheeks and nose, his skin tone is a light tan. he doesn't mind the school's uniform much, except for the lack of his favorite green hoodie. his shoes are green tennis shoes, looking a bit odd with the black pants and shirt. HISTORY. his father joined the military when he was ten or so, I think that makes sam his sister six. that's when their constant moving started, his dad had to keep up with wherever the military put him. but he loved it, and so he was happy. jackson's mom didn't like the moving, though. she said no wife should have to live through that, never being able to really settle down. the fighting between them happened about two years later, so jackson was twelve and sam was eight. their dad couldn't do anything about the moving then, his term wasn't done. they divorced another year later, when he was thirteen and sam was nine. it was hard to get used to, their mom not being there to provide. jackson then stepped up to take care of the house, some cleaning, some cooking, but more taking care of his younger sister. every year though, they got to fly down and see their mom in colorado. but rewinding a bit, when he was eight and the moving began, that's when he started to take up the guitar. jackson couldn't hang with friends as much as the other kids, it was hard to make them when you're the new kid. the guitar quickly began his favorite thing to do, and he grew good at it. it was a way to channel his feelings, whatever they may be, and play them out in a melody everybody could enjoy.
