Crowded with folks who just stare as I hang. It's all the same. Kindness comes over me; what was your name? It makes no difference. I'm glad that you came. Forever I'll listen to your glad neighing.
Webbs RayArthur
NAME; He will say his name is Rabbit, however he is wearing a badge with 'Arthur Ray Webbs' printed on it.
AGE; Eleven.
SEXUALITY; He doesn't really think about that sort of stuff right now. He's a kid for Pete's sake!
BIRTHDAY; Third of July.
NATIONALITY; Another British-boy. (Yep, I'm so adventurous.) ____________________________________________ LIKES. Music. Colours. Rabbits. Goats. Stories. Chocolate. Shiny objects. Birds. Attention. Sunshine.
DISTASTES. Grumpiness. Laziness. Thinking things through. Planning. Darkness. Ghosts. Adults.
POWER. Well, what happened to Arthur was a bit of an accident, so I wouldn't call it a power Per Se. He was chosen for the experiment of uniting the conscious mind with the unconscious because of his (sound → colour) synaesthesia. He undergone the brain surgery and even survived it. In some ways it was successful, both parts of his mind are united so his conscious/unconscious works in complete harmony, even when he himself is unconscious. Unfortunately it means that he is also experiencing his dream world while conscious. The entire world through his eyes is very different. Basically his mind projects dream-like qualities on the existing. An example of this would be a teacher. Someone else would just see a normal person, while Arthur sees a tall dark bony figure wearing a strange plague doctor mask. He memories are also altered to co-exist in his fantasy-world. His mind can also create 'imaginary people' that only he can see. In reality he is talking to nothing, and the people he creates is just his way of telling his mind things (an example of this would be he thinks he's lost but unconsciously he actually knows the way. His mind would then create an old woman who would 'take him there'). Not exactly a power. Science does have it's mistakes before it can reach success.
OCCUPATION. A studee-studee-student.
ACTIVITIES.
He is too busy chasing imaginary rabbits to focus on any actual activities.
PERSONALITY. Before the experiment, Arthur was a delightful boy. Intelligent, willing, active, it was hard to see a bad bone in his body. Not only that, but he couldn't see any wrong in anybody else. Everyone to him was just as friendly. Even after the op he still has this way, unless you are an adult that is. Apparently his mind makes most adults into monsters, which makes it very hard to get him to respond since he's cowering on the floor crying. Despite being in this school he is strangely optimistic. In some ways he is the only happy child in the school, and he has no reason to be happy at all.
It's easy to gather that he is quite an imaginative boy, which is probably why the operation bodged up his mind. He always has a story with him, or a song. Or better yet, a ballad. He is very fond of music, probably because of his synaesthesia. Basically when he hears music, he sees colours and shapes! Giggity! He enjoys experiencing these colours and shapes, so learnt to play the harp and piano, now moving onto more mobile instruments. He remembers things well, and likes to spread his sunshine onto everybody! His mind's dreamy projections made him adventurous, and he doesn't like to think things through very much. 'Look before you leap' means nothing to him.
However during the night Arthur takes on a very different character. He now suffers from insomnia and is very very frightened of the dark. He spends most the dark hours either hiding in corners or in a nicely lit room.
APPEARANCE. Angelic in appearance, with his blonde hair and big blue eyes, Arthur is what one would call a 'cute little kid'. He does look, and sound, younger than he actually is and his shortness doesn't help. If anything he is quite effeminate as he has quite a soft face. A scrawny little thing, so don't expect him to help you carry anything any time soon. Even though his hair has grown back from the surgery, because it is so fair and light you can see the scarring on his scalp where his head was literally cut open. Aside from that he just looks innocent. How could a kid like that know of any dangers? It's impossible!
He wears his school uniform proudly. Despite rolling around in dirt half the time it's very clean and proper. Yes, he wears a little name-tag because his memories of himself have been adjusted, so he even calls himself by a different name. When he looks in the mirror he see pretty much the same thing, except he has a nice woolly scarf on, instead of a collar. Aww! Oh, don't forget the demon on his shoulder, which he can apparently see.
HISTORY. Well, if his memories are correct (which they aren't) Arthur was born in a large tower, where he spent most of his days playing the harp (being dazzled by the blanket of shapes and colours) under the watchful eye of a nanny-goat and a princess. The nanny-goat was very kind to him and the princess and often brought them food and water. She told them stories and cared for them both. Sometimes when he and the princess were out in the garden there would be giants watching on the horizon with the nanny-goat, however after a few minutes the giants always left and never came back. Giants hardly ever visited. One day though, some giants did stand with nanny-goat, and then approached him and the princess. At first they took hold of the princess, but Arthur tried to fight for her. His plan backfired somewhat and the giants took him to a strange empty house in the middle of a desert. He never saw the nanny-goat or the princess ever again. At first he was frightened, but after a few days he grew used to the other giants. One day a plague doctor took him out of the big empty house and took him to a strange lake. When Arthur woke up, he was back in the empty house. He looked out the window, but there was no lake there, just another empty building.
What actually happened was that Arthur was raised in a quiet orphanage. So quiet in face that there was only two children there, him and a girl of roughly the same age. Because of this there was only one member of staff, an old woman called Nanny. Although adoptive parents came and went, Arthur or the girl were never taken to a family of their own. They couldn't care less. They enjoyed each others company. Then people from Ante Negortium came. At first they wanted the girl, but Arthur fought for her. They just took him instead. The rest is easy; he stayed for a while, then had an operation and became who he is now.
FAMILY. Pelicans – mother and father – He has no recollection of them whatsoever. He has no interest in them anyway. To him, he has no parents.
Nanny-Goat – A friendly goat who cared for him in the tower.
Princess – A princess who also lived in the tower. His best friend, he wants to find her again.
Widow Twanky – A strange old woman who helps him in times of need. For some reason no one else seems to see her.
James Hergen – A strange man with scars on his face. Another person who often helps Arthur, though apparently no one can see him either.
FRIENDS. Arthur is a loner right now lol
ENEMIES. so much of a loner people don't even hate him
LOVE LIFE. Apparently the Princess is the love of his life. I doubt it.
HOBBIES. Arthur, like said previously, enjoys music and stories. And catching birds.
EGGSTRA. Not much, just that he's a complicated charrie to explain XDD
QUOTE.
