GO AHEAD, SAY UR PRAYERS LORD HAVE MERCY YOU SURE AS HELL NEED IT ! [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,background-color: #000000]
Today was their first day here. Jin and Misaki both. It was their first time in Spain, on Spain's soil, on a Spanish laboratory. It was appealing. When they had passed through the large city of Barcelona on the way there, Misaki was attracted to the homely feel of the area. It was a very odd feeling, and it was one of the first times she's ever thought of feeling that way towards a place- a place such as Barcelona. She often hated big cities, like Tokyo, but this was quite a change from a big city. That being said, it didn't mean she was in love with the area she was in right now. It was like an asylum, pretending to be a hospital, pretending to be homely and sweet and nice, like everything else in the world wasn't. Like...a sanctuary. But not quite so. She was careful to listen to their chauffeur's words- he wasn't necessarily a chauffeur, more like the man that was to bring and introduce them here-, taking note of how she should act, how she should react, how she shouldn't get lost, and how she couldn't enter certain parts of the facility. "When there are tests being done," He said, very distinguished, "you may not enter the test room, even if you are representatives of our partners. It is secret, and as much as we are welcoming the two of you, we cannot risk the fact you may leak the information to the students." Leaking information to the students? There's students at this place? A school? She drifted back to the reality around her. Of course. There was a school, right by the laboratory. They were standing right in front of the school, right now. It looked simple. A lot larger than a lot of schools, sure, but it wasn't anything unusual. "So this building right here," Jin finally said, "is like, a hamster cage." "Yes," the man chuckled. "Well, it's quite a dark way to say it." "Do you have kids, sir?" "Yes, but-" "What if they were in here?" Jin asked, smiling. "That'd be interesting. How would you feel if you had to, uh, work on them?" Misaki sighed. Her co-worker was getting bored. "Jin, shut the fuck up." The man accompanying them was ashen. He obviously didn't want to be here anymore- at least, if Jin was around. Jin wasn't asking that out of sympathy for the children- it was for his own self amusement. Anyone that knew him would know what he did. Hah. But even so, Misaki felt that that was quite a clever move. The unnamed man gave a quick bow before heading off. "I-if you need anything, please visit the lab." "Of course." Misaki replied, annoyed. She looked at Jin. "Why would you say that to him?" "What?" He looked innocent. He wasn't anywhere near being innocent, not even close. "You know what. Don't play dumb with me." He shrugged. "That guy just pissed me off for some reason. I don't like him too much." "Yeah, well, he doesn't like you very much either." She sighed. Combing her fingers through her brown hair. "I want to go to the lab." She mumbled, unappeased. "What are we doing in front of a school?" He shrugged. Again. "It's a mysterious place." He glanced around the structure of the tall building. "Wonder what these kids think when they're here." She nodded. "We do practically the same thing, Jin." "Yes, but we have volunteers." He cleared his throat, and fixed his shirt. "They're not ripped from their old hometown and put in a cage." She didn't reply to this. He was saying the truth, but they were in no place to say anything about it. If they were found out, their own company may be forced into corruption. But as she thought this, something caught her eye. Was it a person? An animal? It came from the side of the building. It was an assumption, but a pretty damn close one. She hardly looked up. Instead, she moved closer to Jin. "Jin." She said, mumbling in a quiet Japanese, "did you see that?" "See what?" "There was someone- or something- just here." "Really?" "Yeah." She didn't dare glance over, as she was afraid they'd run. "I think it's one of the students." Without warning, Jin called out. "Hey, you. We saw you, come on out, or we'll force you over." He had a loud voice for a man who didn't speak much. She punched him. "Fuck you! That was fucking loud!" "Shut up. Let's see if they come." She looked over at the side of the building, the side where she saw the kid. She awaited their reply. At least, they did.

Weird friendless kid, you don't know where you live, no one knows a thing about you, no one ever did [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,background-color: #d1c299] [style=width: 100px; height: 100px; background: #C3C3C3 url(http://i686.photobucket.com/albums/vv228/evilsingingllama/DSCF4139-1.jpg); float: right; border: solid #2b2b2b 3px;] Wallace let out a sigh as he approached the school, just finishing from his walk along the forest path. In many ways the day was all ready over; he had nothing else to do for a good few hours apart from sit in his classroom and overlook documents, with the occasional child coming in to tell him they were scared. All the children were scared. The ones that actually told him directly were the bravest out of the fearful. Even the ones who were blissfully unaware of what happens next-door knew that something was amiss. Truth be told, Wallace himself couldn’t say what happens exactly inside the walls of the laboratory (aside from the blunt details). He just dealt with the after-affects. The permanently scarred children. Even so he couldn’t deal with them properly. If it was up to him all of the children would be given prescription tranquilisers and various other drugs, but under strict orders he was told not to. It might have an affect, was what the scientist had said. Only the true doctors and scientists could prescribe medicine. He was just a humble doctor of psychology. He wasn’t even trained to help children. They just hired him because a child’s therapist would be ‘too soft’ and wouldn’t ‘uphold the rules as effectively’. There’s a reason why you need training to help children; they don’t tend to trust you. Children like hiding, be it themselves or objects or secrets. However once with somebody they trust they are very open. Even the children didn’t trust each other here. It was a school of silence. It was a school of no trust. There were no bridges of trust. The students didn’t trust the teachers. Honestly, the teachers didn’t trust the students. There would be pocketfuls of students together. Safety in numbers as they say. Safety from them. It wasn’t unusual to see some of the children outside. They were allowed to be anywhere at anytime, just not the labs or any special escape routes they may have created. Even if they weren’t supposed to be somewhere, there was no point grassing them up. They’d get caught sooner or later. Sometimes it seemed the building had eyes. There was no point hiding. Wallace paused as he heard shouting nearby. There usually wasn’t shouting. Automatically he brain clicked and whizzed at the endless possibilities. Curiosity killed the cat. He began to stroll in the direction of the noise. But satisfaction brought it back. And frankly, if he wasn’t the slightest but curious he would be terrible at his job. He ran his hand along the smooth-white walls of the building and stared at the two strangers. A man and a woman. There was no point in asking who they were; people couldn’t just sneak into a place with such a high-profile. It was easier to assume that they were new staff. And annoyed, by the looks of the woman who was scolding the man (well, he hoped it was the man, else she had a very deep voice) for shouting. Wallace straightened his jacket and addressed the people. New or not, they had to learn how to behave in this school. “Excuse me sir, I’m not sure of your experience in teaching facilities but here at Ante Negortium we would appreciate it if you didn’t threaten the children. They tend to react extremely to aggressive tones.” Oh yes. There were two extremes, one would be fear and the other would be defence. Usually though; fear. They may be children but there weren’t immature enough to think attacking a member of the building would help their cause. He looked the pair up and down. Nobody he recognised. And hopefully nobody he’d see ever again. Chatting with fellow staff members wasn’t one of the reasons he came to this job. It still isn’t. Wallace glanced over his shoulder and saw a child scamper off towards the main doors of the school. One more child he felt he would be talking to later. “Please try to control your tongues. We wouldn’t want to have anything unfortunate to happen. To you or the students.” He added with a blunt yet poisonous voice, adjusting his tie. words; 741 ooc; It’s a bit late, but I’ll reply anyway! Misaki eyed the man, while Jin twiddled his thumbs. "Oh, hey there." She replied, waving nonchalantly. "We're not threatening anyone. I don't think so, anyway." But as she said this, she realized what the man meant. The Ante Negortium Center tested on children. The children were the ones affected by this, emotionally and physically. The man himself she didn't care about at all. His identity was a small an unneeded matter- the two might just forget who he is, anyway. So, she concluded, whatever I say to them might just be a threat indeed. She nudged Jin, as to signify that she wasn't going to be the one doing all the talking, in spite of his shy demeanor. And, on the other hand, she didn't know how to explain their exact occupation here, as they were no teacher or scientist- more like the dogs of Ante Negortium. "We're not teachers here, see." Jin stated in a flat tone, contrasting to the tone of voice he used before. "We're here on business." Misaki sighed. That was a silly answer- business on what? Oh, we're here to kill the random kids we see running about, like that one- yeah, that one, the one that just ran past you, sir.- she wanted to say, but she bit the inside of her mouth. They would be sure to get a negative reaction from that. But they were specified not to give to anyone but the higher-ups what they were doing here.
“Please try to control your tongues. We wouldn’t want to have anything unfortunate to happen. To you or the students.”
Misaki laughed. "Anything unfortunate to happen?" She held back the cackle to a stifled chuckle. "Like what?" We're the unfortunate happenings here. And that was true in itself. The four dead children- she was the one that killed them. She glanced at Jin, and grimaced as soon as she saw him back on the subject of staring at the floor like an outcast teenager. Something he sort of was, frankly, but it was something she liked to deny. Whenever he seemed this way, she started to grow uneasy. For no apparent reason, she leaned a bit against him, awaiting the man's answer.

Weird friendless kid, you don't know where you live, no one knows a thing about you, no one ever did [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,background-color: #d1c299] [style=width: 100px; height: 100px; background: #C3C3C3 url(http://i686.photobucket.com/albums/vv228/evilsingingllama/DSCF4139-1.jpg); float: right; border: solid #2b2b2b 3px;] The pair were certainly… different to the usual stiff-lipped staff of the building, continuously relying on each other to do something. One didn’t appear to like talking while the other played with his thumbs, not really paying attention to the situation. Or doing so very sneakily. Yes. Very different to the usual staff. Wallace narrowed his eyes slightly as the women spoke, then nudged the man and he spoke. It was like a very bad ventriloquist show. He had a feeling that if he did ever see them again, they’d be hanging around together. Perhaps if they weren’t together they’d be even more foolish than they appeared to be. Mr. Hector cocked his head. The man, who enjoyed thumbs so much, admitted they neither were teachers and were there on ‘just business’. Of course there were a hundred other jobs aside from teaching, but people at a school who weren’t teachers was slightly suspicious. He doubted they were scientists. Not just doubted, he knew they weren’t scientists. If they were, Ante Negortium was definitely going downhill. “Business,” His eyes narrowed further. “I see.” His tone was of a man who did not see. It was the tone of a man who expected further explanation of business. Wallace couldn’t help his curious urges. He wanted to know more. Business was so vague. He was half tempted to say ‘Why yes, I am on business also’. It probably wouldn’t be the most intelligent of decisions, especially since he had no idea was the business was. Business, business, business. For all he knew they could just be cleaners wanting to big-up their jobs. “Business,” he concluded aloud. “Which involved threatening a child.” There was no particular reason he was sticking up for the child. He just felt, as a teacher and therapist of the school, it was his moral obligation to continue bringing up the subject of threatening the child until they apologised and he could go inside and threaten children to lessons. Only joking. The children do that themselves. “Anything unfortunate to happen? Like what?” The woman avoided to cackle. Apparently something humorous. Wallace tried to link the cackle into any hidden meanings. It wasn’t something funny. Maybe she was like a child when they lie or keep a secret. You know they know something because of the smirk drawn across their face. He seemed satisfied with that hypothesis. First business, and now a possible secret. Whatever would be next! These people being murderers, let loose in a school while they kill off children? Hahaha… “I cannot say exactly, everyone is quite confidential. There are still rumours. Rumours, I doubt, that have gotten far out of hand to be deemed believable. Like most rumours.” He sighed. Wallace could say some ‘unfortunate happens’. He could give a detailed example. He just didn’t want to. If the people were so interesting in the subject, they should have given him a clearer answer than ‘business’. If they weren’t interested, his own vagueness wouldn’t be much of a matter with them. words; 525 ooc; Duuh Wally is getting cocky XDDcredit NIK@ansrc [/style] |

‘That guy’ seemed to be rather interesting company, concluded Misaki. She liked interesting company. Maybe he could tell them a thing or two about this place. She adjusted her position and stood straight. Jin exhaled- or sighed, he did sound somewhat exasperated. The question hung a bit in the air- “who are u “, practically, but no one seemed to ask the other that. Even so, he stopped playing with his fingers and asked, “What role do you play here, then?” It was quite an unjust question, as they dodged that very easily. They couldn’t even tell the man, not even if they wanted to- and surely, they didn’t. Now, threatening a child was not exactly a memo, but more like an implication- kill off those assholes who want to leave, or kill the ones who don’t seem to comply. Anyone could have done this, following just one rule- no mercy. They followed this rule a little too well, really. Misaki chuckled slightly. “’Threatening’ is a bit harsh, you know. I think something like, “commanding with force’ is more like it, but really, this is a school. They ought to be inside.” Coming from the girl who had once said, “School’s only temporary, I don’t care about it.” And even though this was from she was young, she was now nineteen, and she hasn’t even thought of going to college. Jin glanced over the man’s complexion. He seemed rather suspicious of them- or has he already been this way?- and seemed to be looking over Misaki. What was he suspecting, exactly? Hopefully not the obvious… Assuming he worked here, didn’t he have access to those who worked here too? It’d only be so long until he knew who they really were. That would then evolve from a problem to a disaster- how would they be looked upon within the campus from that point on? Monsters? He smiled, somewhat darkly. What an ironic term. He hasn’t seen any of this school’s bogeymen yet, but he wasn’t looking forward to it. No, he was looking forward to seeing what they do the kids- the process, the surgery, possible death and error, bleeding, and then, sealing the secret. Fascinating. He glanced up at the word ‘rumors’, immediately returning to the plain expression plastered onto his face. “Mind sharing any?” He asked, suddenly interested in the gossip. He must’ve looked too much like a kid, there- curious, expectant- and even more like a person who thought the world was entirely good. He might’ve even looked hopeful. Misaki nodded in agreement. “Yeah, I wanna hear. Maybe they’re about us.” [style= color: #FFFFFF; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8px; letter-spacing: 0px; text-align:center; background-color: #565656]words; 434 ooc; ARGHHHH LATENESS FUCK D:<credit NIK@ansrc

Weird friendless kid, you don't know where you live, no one knows a thing about you, no one ever did [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,background-color: #d1c299] [style=width: 100px; height: 100px; background: #C3C3C3 url(http://i686.photobucket.com/albums/vv228/evilsingingllama/DSCF4139-1.jpg); float: right; border: solid #2b2b2b 3px;] Slowly adjusting his tie, taking his time, Wallace smiled to himself. Curious like children. This pair may as well have been students, it wouldn't make a difference. Still they asked, and there was no obligation to refuse to answer. “I apologise, I didn't introduce myself beforehand. Mr. Hector, Doctor of Psychology.” He extended his hand, waiting for it to be shook. “My role is simply to help the most troubled of students, and sometimes staff, although I hope you do not mind that I respect the confidentiality of my clients and therefore cannot say any more than that, unless necessary.” Yes, it was the only rule his job really had. The strange balance of trust would be broken if he spoke of any cases, even ones from years past. Of course the only exceptions were when he had the clients permission to speak of it, or someone or the client themselves were are risk. Oh how fun it was to the secretive. He finally let go of his tie and his hand dropped back down by his side. “May I ask what you are doing presently?” Honestly, he didn't care. They were two reasonably immature adults who just happened to be in a school. The only reason he asked was so he could remain the polite and, well, more sophisticated of the small gathering. His curiosity was failing him. The cat that was supposedly killed was actually just trapped in the garage. “'Commanding with force'? That certainly is a new way to explain it.” Were these people trying to cover themselves? Did they need a good excuse that they actually weren't threatening a child? Most people would apologise; what did they have to hide? Such a small spark and Wallace's mind was eager once more for dirt on the odd pair. Having a few specks of dust on his coat wouldn't be so bad, he could always use it to blackmail them or manipulate them. Though despite the immaturity he could get a sense of cunning from them. Maybe that cunning wouldn't be there when they were apart. “Anyway, I would appreciate it if you did not 'command with force'. As I had all ready said, the children are delicate and tend to act extremely, even if they are innocent. And I would not worry about them being outside. Most understand where they should and should not be.” The man, somewhat ditzy and not exactly one with a long attention-span, perked up when he spoke of the rumours. Yes, everybody enjoys gossiping. Even when they are so ridiculous and cannot be believed, people would still love to hear the words graced upon their ears. Rumour. What a hideous word. The woman then offered her comment. Strangely Wallace sensed her to be quite a sensible girl, for reasons unexplainable, but even she succumbed to the hint of rumours. “I would not think they would be about you, seeing as I have not even seen your faces before.” Why would this woman think there'd be rumours about them? The staff aren't exactly told when somebody new is hired, people just appear, and one day disappear. “I am afraid that what I have heard may not be of interest. Right now is the stir that some of the children are missing, although I find it quite hard to believe.” He lied without batting an eyelid. Of course the children are missing. They were dead, no secrets there. If it weren't for the orders of 'pretend nothing has happened' and 'don't speak about it' it would be the buzz of the town. Anyway he had to be careful, he didn't know how much the pair all ready knew about the school. Did they know of the experiments? And the after-affects? Could they be trusted. He cleared his throat before speaking up once more. “Yes it is most unusual that these children are said to be disappearing, especially since we just took on new members of staff. Very strange. Very coincidental.” He chuckled softly. It wasn't hard to link the pair together. If only she hadn't of pondered the rumours against them. If only they had been more careful with their words. He was quite proud himself. In his younger days he could have said something along the lines of 'Call me Sherlock!' as a cry of achievement. Then again in his younger days he would have never been able to figure it out. He would have been as immature as those two. Actually, he was beginning to doubt that they knew that he just worked out their role. Tsk, those immature young folk. words; 776 ooc; Sorry it's late Nicholas!
