Often, she likes to get along with people, and so she tends just to let things go and try to see the better things in people. But this trait sort of back fired with her step-dad, instead of saying something to her mom, she went along and dealt with the abuse. So she tends not to stand up for herself in times of fighting, for the sake of getting along. Loving to laugh, Ivory loves to joke around. Times of amusement or when she is by the ocean are when she feels most happy. The ocean has a special calling to Ivory, it was where she was born and where she has lived her whole life. The smell of the salt, the calmness of the waves, and the soft, squishy feeling of sand is where she feels most at home. Since she was always around the quiet sea, Ivory hates loud things and is very sensitive to noise. Just the hustle and bustle of the hallways hurts her ears and makes her cringe. appearance. Ivory stands a bit short for her age, at five foot six inches. She is average weight, no too thin, not too heavy. Long, flowing, light blonde hair falls down to about her chest. It is particularly straight, and kind of thin. She has sea green eyes, something that she very much loves about herself. Ivory has tan skin, from the long hours spent out on the beach. Ivory stands confident and brave, though sometimes when met with taller guys, she lowers her eyes and sways a bit. This would be the affect of her step-dad. She has quite a few scars on her back from some beatings, and a small scar of her head that she attempts to cover up with her hair. history. Ivory was born on the beaches of California to her father, a marine biologist, and her mother. Her dad would show her everything he knew about the sea and it's creatures. The pair would spend hours out on the shore, just watching the life out there, or splashing each other in the ocean. When Ivory was around ten, the fights started happening. Soon afterward, her father and her mother split. She desperately wanted to go live with her father, but after court and a bunch of legal stuff, her mom gain fulled possession of Ivory, and for some reason never wanted her daughter around her father again. Along with Ivory, her mother also gained the house, and so she continued to live at the beach, trying to fill her father's shoes. Her mom continued to home school her, that had been her dad's job before. Soon after, her mom met another man, and they became married not long after. The new man brought along his five year old daughter, and so Ivory had a sibling. The new members seemed nice at first, but after about a year, the pair started to show their true colors. Becoming very bratty, Hannah, Ivory's step-sister, was clearly her dads favorite, her step-dad never seemed to like Ivory. Whenever she gave a snappy remark to his princess, a slap of some sort would follow. Soon, the slaps became hits, and they came at random, not when Ivory was rude to Hannah. Her step-dad became abusive, and along with that, a drunk. Either Ivory's mom is very naive, and never noticed anything, or she was too afraid of loosing another man to mention it.
